When we first arrived at Venice, we were lost for about an hour before we found our hotel that was located at one of the quaint back-alleys. Venice is like a beautiful maze and it was a wonderful experience getting lost there. Walking around and seeing the place as it was 600 years ago was surreal and it felt like I was entering a Ghibli animation or a movie set. I was mesmerized by its romantic charm. It’s nice to know that a place so beautiful and rich in culture still exists. Would definitely like to go back again to visit the surrounding islands and see the less touristy areas.
